Here's a question:  When you come across a profile that if it weren't for the age or height preference (it doesn't fit you), do you still contact them or do you move on?  This person has everything else that you are looking for in a potential mate, but it's just that age or height thing!  What would you do?

My personality does win me alot of women. I am average height at 5'10" and a big guy.......as you can see from my pic. But if you give me your attention..........I will most definitely keep it.

Yes this can be a situation, I would then look at why iam on here !to just have fun then its OK up lift the no no to well it is just fun I want make that known to the potential also, but if my real agenda is to have a serious long term ,then don't settle for any less not even for the bank balance because problems will surface .

If I saw a profile that I liked, but that person didn't meet my exact age and height requirements, I would still probably contact that person anyway. Especially if it seemed like me and that person were compatible in other key areas.

If you don't stand for something, then you will fall for anything.

I recently watched this movie called:  Eat Pray Love and Julia Roberts went thru different stages in her goal to rediscover herself.  While in Italy (I think she was in Italy) she threw herself into food (meaning: enjoying food to the fullest...no more salad bs) and she asked the other woman had a man ever turned her away inside of the bedroom (men don't exactly notice the muffin top)...the woman replied no...and Julia Roberts said to bring on the muffin top and buy a new pair of big lady pants.  Seriously women how many men are going to turn you away (it's all the same in the dark)...we are all beautiful in our own ways.

I'm a young guy that has a real passion for older women. I've never been contacdted by one of them first. When I see a lady with some class that I would like to meet and email her she will probably not take me seriously. Mostly thank me and pass on if she responds at all. I would consider a woman of about any age if she were a class act.

I am not so hyper-focused on the height thing ... at a statuesque 5'3 it's not hard to find people that are taller than I ... which is my goal! Height isn't everything, just a starting point for some. Now, if it is really really important you you then you should respect it. It will ultimately stand in your way of getting to know that person better. But more importantly .. it makes no difference when you are horizontal!

Thank you for your comments, Redheadpassion!  Very well said.  I have also been enjoying reading your blogs!  I look forward to more! (smile)

I also move on, because if  a guy is looking for a slim athletic girl, he won't like me. Sometimes you never  know though. A few years ago, I was on another dating site and I found this profile that I very much liked. I did not  meet his weight requirements.  At this particular site people can see  who  viewed their profile and he contacted me nad said he saw my pictures and it was no problem, We as woman are very self concious of our body image and often see ourselves as heavier than we are. If you really felt  drawn to the profile then answer it. BTW I checked out your profile and you are gorgeous!

Thank you for your comments, Eternallyyours!  Yes, you're right... we women are very selfconcious about our body/weight.  I also read on some guys' profile where they are downright nasty about what size woman they don't want--do they really  have to go there?  Anyway, it's what's really inside that counts.  Thank you also for the compliment and encouragement.  It takes one gorgeous woman to know another!  And one who is very confident and comfortable in her own skin to say that.  So thank you!  I hope you meet your prince charming soon!

As for me, I'm not into Big Girls but If I see a picture and she healthy or somewhat larger than what I'm really searching for I'll still contact them because you never know. People need to be flexible but dont get too far away from your comfort zone. Another example is children, 1 or 2 children is OK and the kids are part of the package, that's when
I really like to take things very very very slow.   lol

If you will ultimately reject them because of their weight or height, don't respond to the profile. If you feel you can be more flexible, go for it.

If I don't fit their age or height preferences I move on. I don't see much point in wasting their time with an unwanted email if I am not what they are looking for. But then again, women are more particular about those things than men are. In your case, I say go for it. I'm pretty confident that most guys would be willing to expand their parameters enough to fit you in.
