If you meet someone who doesn't share your passion for your pet, what do you do?
Do you leave that person or you look for new shelter for your best friend?

For you Rumple
I've been having difficulties keeping to myself
Feelings and emotions better left up on the shelf
Animals and children tell the truth, they never lie
Which one is more human
There's a thought, now you decide
Compassion in the jungle
Compassion in your hands, yeah
Would you like to make a run for it
Would you like to take my hand, yeah...
It was one of my favorite songs and here is my one of my favorite animals.

The Barkless basenji(?) is the only breed I know of that is not surgically modified that doesn't bark. Also a very old breed, found in the tomb of some Egytian upper classes. Imported to the west in 1934, the last time anyone heard one bark was a dog show in 1939.

NEW YORK - When Debbie Parkhurst choked on a piece of apple at her Maryland home, her dog jumped in, landing hard on her chest and forcing the morsel to pop out of her throat. When the Keesling family of Indiana was about to be overcome by carbon monoxide, their cat clawed at wife Cathy's hair until she woke up and called for help.

For their nick-of-time acts, Toby, a 2 1/2-year-old golden retriever, and Winnie, a gray-eyed American shorthair, were named Dog and Cat of the Year by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Guess the dogs are the winners here...............how can you not like an animal..........that loves you unconditionally.............just cause you remember to feed it......
Although I do like the "in your face attitude" that only cats possess.
