I've heard some say that Love Hurts. Well not the way I see it. When I am in Love and Love is given in return... I feel like SUPERMAN. Nothing can hurt me. But even Superman has kryptonite. That is Losing love or Love UN-Returned.

I want to share a poem I wrote to a woman I was very much in love with, but I don't have to say that cause it is all there in the poem. It has been nearly a year since it was over and I can now say that I am over it. I mean No love lint or anything. But someone once said that things happen for a reason and we can learn from all of our experiences. I learned an important lesson about myself in this tragedy...

I learned that I am good at loving and that despite the tremendous pain I felt when it was over... I always want to put 100% of my heart into a relationship. Never Feel afraid to love cause it is just not worth getting into unless you do it 100%

I am not typically a poet. Or a song writer... But seemed that when my heart Broke... these words would not stop.It was effortless. I'd share more but some are rather personal and specific... Maybe I can find some that are no so specific.

YOUR LOVE'S DOOR

As I whisper my love in your ear
Down your face rolls a tear.
Why is it you start to cry?
Don't you love me? So tell me why.
You look in my eyes ever so deep,
I see my answer and start to weep
Yes these tears are tears of joy
The kind of tears I enjoy.
Without a word you speak your feelings
Like a pro of love's dealings.
Silently does your heart speak,
Against these feelings you are weak.
Silently your heart speaks clear
To me it speaks without a fear.

I want to love you everyday
I want you near when I'm alone
So then I call you on the phone
I want to feel your gentle touch
It's overwhelming, but not enough
I want to kiss you and hold you near
You make me safe and feel no fear
Mark, you know my love is true
I know Your heart, I know it too.
You know those feelings make you feel free
And want to sing like a bird from a tree.
The love you feel is not a lie
Let forth your love and let it fly.
Unchain your heart let it speak the truth
For there it is, all the proof.
This love I feel, is it a lie?
Is there something else I need to try?
I tell you my heart as true as can be
So why can't you do the same for me?

Babe,
I know you love me without a doubt
And Sharing it is what love's about
But fear comes in as dark as night
And you hide your love without a fight
You push me away like yesterday's trash
And your love I felt, gone in a flash.
You look in my eyes full of fear
Afraid I will see your tears
See that you still hold me dear
And you still really want me near.
I know your heart it's my friend
It says sweet things to help mine mend.
Your heart to me has been real true
So why the hell can't you too?
If I look, in your eyes ever so deep
Again I feel my heart will weep
To feel your love, your love once more
