My best relationships have been the ones where I got to know someone before we expressed any romantic interest in each other. It's like you get to see each other without all of the "I'm on my best behavior" pretenses.

In as much as love is a wonderful things sometimes love alone is just not enough and a couple needs to be able to use the friendship element of their relationship to get over a hurdle when love has taken a coffee break.
