I just tried to post a blog about the men who haven't logged on in "more than one month". I'm perusing during lunch at least 18 pages of men (with pictures) in my area and about 70% haven't logged on in over a month. I totally feel bambozzled since I couldn't see this feature until I became a Gold Member (today). I too feel like those who haven't logged on in "over a month" should be deleted. OR, this feature should at least be available without becoming a "Gold Member" so people can at least see if this site is worth their money! SMH to customer service. It just kinda bits.

I always get depressed siging up to these sites only to find out you have to PAY for - every priveledge. Online dating is depressing, and once I completed a (terrible initial) profile here, I almost quit. I fear the same old experiences and life is too short. I would love to hear if anyone anywhere had some luck here. Sorry I sound so depressed but I swear my skeptism with signing up here just put me in a bad mood! I shall try to be positive

I just signed up and will only sign up initially for one month to see how the site goes. I must agree, looks like the majority of people are dead files.

Ok, I am glad that I am not alone in this feeling of being ignored. Thanks fore the explanation of dead profiles. What can we do to prompt the site owners to delete profiles that haven not been active over 3 months and give members the choice of viewing dead profiles?

I just joined and I am far from a serial site hopper, but from past experience with another site, it is always a numbers game. However, like anything of value or worth that you invest in, you will not only have to put the time and effort in, but allow sometime before you find someone or something worthwhile or see how things pan out. Remember this is NOT speed dating where you are getting a constant and ready rotation of candidates to conversate and interact with. This is more akin to a job search or starting up a business to those of you who can relate. You just have to stick it out until you achieve some success or choose to be out of the running. Sometimes fortune smiles on you or just smacks you in the face, but you just have to stay the course or keep it moving.. And only you can make that call.

It's the same as any other dating site. The only way to look around is to put up a profile of your own. So, people sign up, look around, send a wink or two and then get bored and wander off when they don't get a response. Most of them forget all about it and never bother to delete their profile. If they do eventually get a message or two, they will never see them unless they log back in because they never set their account to get email notifications. Over time, the "dead" profiles from people who signed up out of curiosity to look at a few pictures far outnumber the active profiles of pepole that are really looking for someone. Any site you go to will be the same. The longer the site has been in operation, the higher the percentage of "dead" profiles. Those of you with paid memberships can see when someone last logged on. If it says "over a month", then its probably a dead profile. If you send a message to a dead profile, remember that they aren't being rude and ignoring your message because they never received it in the first place.

Hi, I feel the same. How exactly do you know who is active and who is not? I have so far written to 48 of "my favourites" with not one responce. ALL OF THEM havent logged on for more than a month. I feel it is a waste of money and they should be reported to Trading Standards.
