Sportsnut hi there. Read your very interesting profile and what jumps out at me is that you're a gentleman with boundless energy who is very detailed about the type of woman you are seeking. Most of your activities are extremely physical - speedwalking, hiking, biking etc = then your lady must be extremely beautiful, athletic, lives nearby etc. You've narrowed your boundaries so tight, I think the women reading your 'shopping list' might feel they just don't measure up. Maybe you need to revise your profile but if you're stuck on getting exactly what you want then hang in there hon and maybe one day miss '100% perfect' will come along.

I can certainly relate to the young man from UK. I am not so young, have a solid job, and a variety of interests, and still can't get any of the women in my age bracket to respond. It is very discouraging. I, too, don't understand why they will not respond to my emails. You think it is fun sitting here, taking my time, trying to sell myself (when actually I am a very humble person), and then get no response day after day after day. Sometimes, I just want to throw in the towel and quit. But....God is good and I will move on...either alone or with someone to share my joys and sorrows. Oh well, just had to vent a little. I apologize.

Reply to theresam thanks for the advice it really means a lot i didnt realise black women had been given such a bad rep and i didnt realise i havnt completed my profile anything specific? Im not gunna give up though :-) I want to be with a black lady and treat her like a princess haha (blush) :)

Hello Lonely, I perused your profile and found that you did not complete your profile. As for myself, I find it a little easier to know something about the person before responding. Please don't think that all women of color look for a man for shopping. I know many white men around the country that have married black ladies, whom are professionals in great careers!
Please don't be discouraged. Try to change up the type of women you email and if all else fails. Go to a few dating 101 sites to see what black women are looking for. We have gotten a bad rap over the years and placed into stereo-typical roles. But, thank God for cultural diversity, that's changing. You will find someone don't worry!!!
