Don't know about you guys, but I'm getting flooded with e-mails, mostly dis-information, about the healthcare issue.
The dis-information is coming from both sides and really getting the the population stirred up, I thought Americans lost their passion since the 60's. Can the riots be far behind?????

I don't really have a strong opinion on the health care issue, I'm more surprised by the passion coming out on the issue. It started out badly as both sides were either flat out lying with the purpose of creating fear (death panels) or being overly secretive which creates suspicion. Of course you have the far right radio personalities stirring the pot with their mindless followers and you end up with all the outrage that we're seeing now.

I loved when Obama said, "This isn't about me. I have great health insurance, and so does every Member of Congress."

Did some checking and discovered that the goverment pays 72% of the cost for congress and 8 million federal employees, not 100%...However, they have a huge variety of health care plans to choose from...Sorry for the false info...

All I can say is it's a crime when a senator or house member can vote against health care for his constituants while their tax dollars pays for him and his family to have 100% health and dental coverage, which incidentally, as a retired veteran of 25 years in the military, I DON'T HAVE.

Its a shame.... and more of a shame that I have not educated myself adequately on the issue to take a stand on one side or the other. We should have had this much passion and anger when George W stole the first election, and when gas prices started to skyrocket.
